All Sides

 

All Sides is Nina Kernicke, an artist and musician based in Bremen, Germany. Nina began her sound experiments with mix-tapes and field recordings, before buying a 4-track cassette recorder in 2001 and adding musical instruments to her tape collages, inspired by a love of psychedelia, drones and dark ambient music.

In 2003, she bought a computer and began recording using Cubase and other software. These recordings led her to collaborate with the German experimental band Troum, who gave Nina her first guitar in return for her participation.

Nina’s subsequent recordings were posted on MySpace, where they were discovered by Make Mine Music, who offered to release her debut EP “All Sides”.

More live dates and a CD collaboration with Troum followed, along with All Sides’ debut album “Dedalus” on Make Mine Music in 2007.
